  3. @dante – the Brutus dude was an anti-partheid activitst and poet in south africa. he was imprisoned severally on Robben Island. He wrote this poem whilst there in the 60s i think… Need to double check that.

  6. mother theresa and ghandi say the most powerful things in the simplest of words, their humility is the cloth that covered up their intelligence. i was just reading some ghandi quotes on friday and appreciating how intelligent he was.

    #4…Can be seen in our naija society where most kids do things for either of their parents out of fear rather than love, this continues until they grow up or assume adulthood and they rebel against said parent.

  10. I've been fascinated by the space between stimulus and response for quite sometime. You know, the whole take a deep breath before you say anything philosophy. Nice quotes. Mother Teresa's quote, did it come from that awesome speech when she was accepting the Nobel? and number 1 is hilarious. I think I'll use that one.
